Jiří Hrádek is a researcher at the Centre of Comparative Law at the Faculty of Law of Charles University and an in-house lawyer.
He graduated in law from the Faculty of Law of Charles University (2002). Jiří Hrádek studied at the University of Hamburg (2000-2001), in the LLM programme at the Eberhard-Karls-University in Tübingen (2002-2003) and in the post-graduate programme of the Charles Uni¬versity (2002-2009).
In 2002 and 2003 he completed research stays at the European Centre of Tort and Insurance Law (ECTIL) in Vienna; in 2007 he received an internship at the European Commission, DG Health and Consumer Protection.
Jiří Hrádek specialises in civil and procedural law, with a special focus on tort law and consumer law. He is the author of a book on pre-contractual liability, co-author of commentaries on the Czech Civil Code, the Czech Civil Procedure Code and book on Delict Law.
Jiří is an external consultant to KPAK in specialized legal issues.
